Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, on June 1, 1973. The mother of Heidi Klum Erna had a career as a hairdresser. Gunther was Gunther's father as well as a top executive in the cosmetics company. Heidi's dad was previously an assistant to the production manager of the company 4711. Born in Bergisch Gladbach (a city of about 100,000 residents, just 6 miles to the west of Cologne), Heidi was raised there. Former German-American model, Heidi Klum is now an actor as well as a television host.
