Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. DJ Qualls became famous after his role in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has appeared in a total of 20 feature films, such for The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 television series like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls battled Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. His cancer went into remission within two years. The treatment was so early that it caused a serious affect on the body and stunted his growth. Once he was acting, financial security was his goal. He had experienced poverty in his childhood. In an interview, he stated that if I do not have money security or feel lost within the universe, I'll suffer. He also looks back at his youth and plans to tackle the issue of being bullied. DJ says that the act of cruelty breaks his heart. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel as well as on the real world. But, he admits that directors do not usually choose me for those types of roles. One day he'd love to get a kid so the time he spends in his professional life to pay greater time with the child.
