Ann Turkel is still struggling to accept her divorce from husband, Richard Harris. Ann's appearance with her band in a fashion showcase was the point at which Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Within a few days, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was one of the United States' most popular models. Her images appeared on the covers of prestigious magazines including Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and other magazines. Ann started modeling for Max Factor Revlon in Europe as well as Japan with Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two consecutive years of successful modeling.
