Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada and is well-known among Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te enamores. She is also an accomplished model and dancer. Born in Montreal and raised in Texas. She's always been a performer. She's been learning different dance styles from the time she was a child. At the age of 15, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when she made her debut in 2008 as a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. In 2010, she began acting in a role as a receptionist on the Telemundo episode. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action movie. Toubia was recognized for her performance on Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
